Teen Leaders

We are seeking Teen Leaders aged 14+ years plus who will volunteer their time to lead small groups, and look after the younger children during tent time, to and from electives, and encourage them where they can throughout the duration of the elective.

Monday 20 April is set aside to train our Teen Leaders, focusing them on the task ahead in a fun atmosphere. Teen Leaders will hone their existing leadership skills and will all leave Day Camp with new skills, putting them in good stead for future working environments. It is essential for Teen Leaders to attend this day.

Teen Leaders are very special people to us at Day Camp and to honour their commitment given over the 4 days, the Mercury Bay Day Camp Organising Committee have elected to apply no charge for Teen Leaders attending and participating.

Parent/Guardian permission and disclaimer

I hereby give my consent for my teen named above to take part in any camp activities and to receive any medical treatment needed. I undertake to indemnify the organising Committees or their Officers against any claim arising out of any accident involving my teen or any occurrence which but for this indemnity may give rise to a claim for damages during the camp, including travelling to and from the campsite.
